LoadoutKit

AI tool finder · template packs

Your vibe-coded app
can't take payments.
Fix it the right way.

LoadoutKit picks the right AI tool for the job you're stuck on, then hands your coding agent a step-by-step playbook to finish it. First up: add Stripe Checkout and webhooks without the usual traps.

Works with the AI coding tool you already use. Verified in a simulated run, not yet inside a named coding tool; here is what that means.

Template pack 01

The playbook your coding agent is missing

AI tools write plausible Stripe code that fails in quiet ways: a price the browser can change, a webhook that double-fulfils, a key in the client bundle. This pack gives your agent the order of operations, the guardrails, and a way to prove it works.

Who it's for

You built an app with an AI tool and want to charge for something using Stripe Checkout, and you can run a terminal command.

Not for

You want a no-code storefront (use a Payment Link or Gumroad), or you need tax handled for you (look at a merchant of record).

The path

Six steps from "it renders" to "it gets paid"

  1. 01

    Decide & plan

Payment Link or Checkout Session? Your agent asks about your stack, product and who is the seller before any code is written.

  2. 02

    Keys, safely

Env vars, restricted keys, and a hard rule: your agent never asks you to paste a secret into chat.

  3. 03

    Checkout

Server-side Checkout Session with the price taken from your own catalog, plus success and cancel pages that grant nothing on their own.

  4. 04

    Webhook that holds up

Raw-body signature check, handling both completed and async-paid events, idempotent fulfilment that survives retries and duplicates.

  5. 05

    Test locally

Stripe CLI, test cards, and a signed replay script so you can prove fulfilment works before a real customer does.

  6. 06

    Go live

A test-to-live checklist and a review prompt that hunts for leaked keys, client-trusted prices and unguarded downloads.

What "tested" means here

We tell you what was checked, and what wasn't

Verified (simulation, 2026-10-23)

A sample Next.js app built from the prompts passed 26/26 checkout checks and 23/23 webhook replay and duplicate checks against stripe-mock with signed test events. 9 problems were found and fixed along the way.

Not yet verified

The master prompt inside Cursor, Claude Code or similar; real Stripe Checkout redirects, declines and 3-D Secure; other frameworks and hosts. Treat it as a careful starting point, not a guarantee.

Sourced, not vibes

Every price links to the vendor page it came from, with the date it was checked.

Honest tradeoffs

Each pick lists what it's good for and what to watch out for. No affiliate links today.

A visible test log

FAQ

Questions, answered straight

What exactly do I get?

A zip of Markdown files: a master agent prompt, a fill-in paste template, 8 smaller prompts, rules files for Cursor, Claude Code and AGENTS.md, a go-live checklist, a troubleshooting table, and the test log. You paste them into the AI coding tool you already use.

Has it been tested?

Partly, and we say exactly how. On 2026-10-23 an AI agent followed the prompts as a buyer would and built a Next.js sample app against stripe-mock and locally signed webhook events: 26 of 26 checks on the checkout task and 23 of 23 on the replay and duplicates task. That run found and fixed 9 problems. It was not run inside Cursor, Claude Code or similar, and not against real Stripe checkout. The full log ships in the download.

Which tools and stacks does it fit?

The reference code is TypeScript with the stripe npm package, written for Next.js App Router. The prompts tell your agent to adapt to Express, Remix, Astro, SvelteKit, edge runtimes, Supabase, and the built-in Stripe flows in Lovable and Bolt, but only the Next.js path has been exercised.

Is it a Stripe integration I can drop in?

No. It is prompts and rules that make your AI tool build the integration properly in your own codebase, then check it. You still run the app, use the Stripe sandbox, and approve the changes.

What about sales tax and VAT?

You are the seller unless you choose a merchant of record or Stripe Tax. The pack explains the options and when to look at a merchant of record instead. It does not give tax advice.

How do I get it after paying?

Stripe sends you to a download page right after checkout, and your Stripe receipt goes to the email you paid with. If anything goes wrong, email loadoutkit@outlook.com with your receipt.

Refunds?

If the pack does not work as described in its test log, email within 14 days for a full refund. See the refund policy.
